Life is so good lately. I mean yeah it's cool that Obama was elected president, but does that really compare to the fact that I finally figured out how to download this show called Embarrassing Illnesses where these people in Birmingham (England not Alabama) go to doctors with their embarrassing illnesses and then after they are diagnosed (and you are shown their hemorrhoids) the doctor shows them really gross pictures of extreme cases of their illness? FOOT FUNGI AND SKIN RASHES GALORE. I always make the mistake of like settling down to watch it with a snack. Don't do it, folks! You will not want to eat chips after looking at someone's psoriasis flakes.
Also my narcissistic hobby du jour is to make these animations of myself. You may notice that I am drinking a jones soda. I should not have had soda today but I noticed that they had CRUSHED MELON at the Good Times Grill aka THE BEST FLAVOR which they never have, you guys!
I have recently been trying out watercolors because I had to buy a cheap set for my figure drawing class. I based the following on a picture of a guitar god in his youth. If you guess who it is I will send you a wish star or good vibrations, your pick. The black eye is not a clue, though. I just love black eyes.

Man, you guys, my internet stopped for a bit and instead of using the time for studying I fell asleep and when I woke up it was really cold. I'm now wandering around in my little red riding hood sweatshirt (which is basically just red and has a hood). No one else seems to be affected. I want to go make some pad thai, but it seems like people here actually cook and I guess the kitchen's kind of busy at the moment, so I'm probably going to have midnight dinner. It's like regular dinner only your metabolism is slower.

I am at college.
So far the things I miss the most, excluding the obvious of family and friends, are being able to sing out loud and my dog. My sad solution for the first is to fiercely mouth the words to whatever song I am listening to, but it is not the same. I still listen to the Ramones while I clean and wash dishes, but now I clean my roommateless dorm room and wash my dishes in the communal kitchen. Having no roommate in this big room makes me feel kind of weird and sad, so I decided to take advantage of the situation and I made a forest around my bed. If I do end up getting assigned someone then when they move in they can't object because I have asserted my foresty dominance all over this place.

Things that I should have done today:
Pack
Find check worth a lot of money that I seem to have misplaced
Get my bangs trimmed so I can see out of my face
Billions and billions of other things
Things that I actually did today:
Rented and watched Can't Buy Me Love (I have become kind of fixated on this movie lately because it was filmed/set in Tucson. I love this movie, but I am not a big Tucson fan so I thought that if I forced my brain to always associate the two things with each other then maybe I will love Tucson. There are actually people in the world that love Tucson, sometimes I think they are lying to me.)
Stood on a chair while trying to reach some frying pans that were hidden away on a shelf in the studio. Once I retrieved said frying pan I asked myself "Should I carefully step down from the chair or should I try to get off of it by jumping over one of the arms onto the concrete below?" I hesitated which caused the chair to tip and myself to kind of flail off of it and hit my knee on the arm. I bled from my left knee. It's like a hobby of mine. In P.E. last year I tripped on a soft soccer ball and smacked my knees straight on the ground. My knee doesn't even bleed because I cut it; I just smack it so hard against things that the skin pops open like a sausage casing. Yum!

Did you know that if you enter my car you will also enter 1996? Sometimes I'll go for a drive just so that I can watch all of those suckers walking around in 2008 while I get to drive around in a detoriorating car without air conditioning and listen to tapes. I don't know about yours but that was a reality in my 1996 and now twelve years later I get to enjoy it again. I usually look like the president of the cool kids club with my bangs (grainy photographic evidence below) sticking to my forehead while I cruise around with my windows down blasting 50's rock and roll. Until yesterday I only owned one tape: Buddy Holly's Greatest Hits. I was starting to feel like hearing another a-hey-hey would drive me to kill myself so I headed to Half Price books to buy some more. I was hoping for maybe the Ramones or the Cure, but they didn't have any so I got ELO's greatest hits and Door to Door by the Cars. I hadn't actually heard the Cars before, but I remembered hearing something complimentary about them and I was feeling adventurous so I bought it unaware that they are SUPER 80'S.
None of it matters anyway because the tape player in my car is not really working and making everything out of tune, really loud and then quiet, or sometimes just for fun it will make really loud screeching noises. In these cases sort of imagine myself to be a lady Fonz and punch it a few times thinking this will fix it. It does not. I often get ideas like this like when the car's cd player stopped working so I jammed another cd in and then not only did my cd player not work, but my cds were stuck in it for months.
